What is the difference between Grow Ready Biosoil Blend and Grow Ready Fiber?
Biosoil Blend is a commercial soil conditioner designed for field fertility and soil regeneration, combining fermented sugarcane bagasse, biochar, and coffee chaff. Grow Ready Fiber is a 100% fermented sugarcane bagasse substrate designed for growing media, including peat replacement, propagation, potting mixes, and aeration blends.
Is Grow Ready the same as raw biochar?
No. Biochar is an ingredient that typically needs to be incorporated into a broader soil program. Grow Ready Biosoil Blend combines biochar with other beneficial materials so growers receive a formulated product designed to be used as part of their fertility and soil-building program.
How does Grow Ready Fiber compare with peat moss?
Grow Ready Fiber is a peat-free substrate made from fermented sugarcane bagasse. It is designed to provide strong water retention, aeration, and natural rewettability without surfactants, while also carrying naturally occurring nutrients from the sugarcane material. It can be used as a peat replacement or blended into commercial growing media.
Can I test Grow Ready before placing a bulk order?
Yes. 1-gallon samples are currently available for both Grow Ready Biosoil Blend and Grow Ready Fiber and can be requested through the website. Commercial quantities are also available in 1 MT supersacks and bulk freight formats.
